Kevin earned Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC, in the early 2000's. After working as a teacher, he attended Foothills College of Massage Therapy in Calgary, obtaining his 2200 hour certification as a Registered Massage Therapist, in 2007. Since this time, Kevin has completed advanced training in Orthopedic Massage, Myofascial Release, Computer Syndrome Remediation, Visceral Manipulation and Perimedical Ethics. He has also worked as a massage therapy instructor at Mount Royal University and is currently a member in good standing with the Natural Health Care Practitioners since 2007.
Kevin is passionate about resolving his clients' ailments. He likes to describe himself as a bit of a soft tissue detective, listening to his clients as they tell him the important details of their concern and then integrating those clues with the soft tissue tension patterns and misalignments he feels during his treatment. Kevin's treatments also include the teaching of therapeutic exercises his clients should do on an ongoing basis so they can take control of the issue and heal it themselves. In this way, Kevin strives to comprehensively treat the root cause of the complaint leading to lasting relief.
When Kevin is not working with clients he enjoys spending time with his 2 boys, cycling (a lot) and gardening.
